The Death of Death
I thought this was an excellent dark, gothic, spiritual read with a very strong story-line and likable characters. Based on death and the afterlife it creates a different spin on things that I did not expect which kept me reading straight to the end in one sitting. Although this is a short story it did not lack any depth and I found it to be full of emotion which made me really connect and feel for the characters. I thought the ending was fantastic, although I did guess what was going to happen, nevertheless, it never stopped the ending making me feel some very strong emotions.Whilst reading this story I did get a sort of 'Tim Burton' feel from it which I really liked, as I love his work and it gave me some very strong gothic imagery.
