A very 'short' short horror story, so got through it very quickly. The blurb appealed to me greatly but the execution of the story didn't quite wow me. I did, however, enjoy this book and would be interested in reading the author's other work. The pace was good with a nice bit of gore and tension but it somewhat lacked 'oomph' and so therefore I wasn't on the edge of my seat. This work does have great potential and if extended and revised it could be a five star read. I would still recommend it to horror fans but feel it could be greatly improved...I hope for another version and would very much be interested in reading it.
